These are the very first photos of Wald International's upcoming upgrade package for the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) Toyota 86, which is one and the same with the GT 86 in Europe, Australia and other regions/countries around the world, and the Scion FR-S in North America. Although the Japanese tuning brand has only released a few teaser shots of the car without telling us much more about the package, we can see that the aero kit includes a protruding front apron that covers half the height of the bumper, and matching side skirts with front fender vent parts.
At the back, we find a duck tail-like spoiler that attaches to the GT86/86's boot and a new rear apron with an integral diffuser and a quad-pipe exhaust system.
A set of two-tone alloy wheels and from what we can tell, a lowered sports suspension, finish off the look of the vehicle.
Wald International said that it will release more information including availability, later in the year.

Renault Alpine A110-50 Concept Picture

The latest word on the street is that Renault plans to preview a concept model for a spiritual successor to the Alpine sports coupe series this Friday during a special ceremony in Monaco for the 50th anniversary A110 Berlinetta. The unconfirmed news was quickly accompanied by a supposedly official image of the study named the Renault Alpine A110-50 Concept. While the story on the debut may hold true, we believe that the picture is not real but a photoshop of Renault's 2010 Paris Motor Show DeZir coupe study.
There are more things that caught our attention upon closer inspection of the image such as the absence of the plastic grille on the right side of the car as well the use of certain photoshop tools to alter the green background on the top right corner and to clone parts of the road on bottom left corner of the photo.

 Ford to Charge $295 for Auto Start-Stop System on 2013 Fusion, Says Improves Fuel Economy by 3.5%

We believe that auto start-stop systems are one of those features that should be standard across the range of any model these days, as switching off the engine when stuck in traffic has proven to be an effective and fairly inexpensive way to improve the fuel economy of any type of car. However, instead of making it standard on its new 2013 Fusion sedan, Ford decided to offer Auto Start-Stop system as an option when the car launches in the States this fall. On the other hand, Ford has priced the fuel-saving technology at a reasonable $295.
Ford said that the system will be available in conjunction with the 179hp 1.6-liter EcoBoost gasoline engine, improving fuel efficiency by about 3.5 percent on average.
“We expect the average Fusion driver with the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine and Auto Start-Stop will save about $1,100 more than other midsize sedan owners during five years of driving,” said Samantha Hoyt, Fusion marketing manager.
Ford did not clarify if the auto start-stop system will be offered as an option on the other two launch engines as well, the 170hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder unit and the 237hp 2.0-liter turbo EcoBoost.
